As far as I am certain, I have had four experiences involving Bigfoot. The first happened when I was a young boy growing up in northwestern Pennsylvania in the woods of the Appalachian foothills. The second occurred when I was in graduate school investigating an encounter in the Blue Mountains of Washington State near the Oregon border. The third time was last summer while driving through southwestern New York state and the Allegheny National Forest. My most recent experience happened at the beginning of this year in the forest near Mt. St. Helens in Washington State. I have also had a number of strange experiences that I cannot explain that have occurred in my lifetime, including a near-death experience (NDE) I had when I was a younger man that affected the entire course of my life.
